Melbourne Cup Polo International is the most prestigious tournament on the polo calendar and attracts professional teams and players from all over the world. Several thousand people attend the event each Sunday enjoying the carnival atmosphere in a range of hospitality marquees and reserved picnic sites beside the polo field.

This is a really relaxed tournament – with 3 Polo matches being played during the day. Matches start at 11am, then at 1pm and 3pm. The games in the afternoon are a higher standard. Each polo team will represent a Winemaker who is exhibiting their wines at the Harvest Picnic in the grounds of nearby Werribee Mansion.

There are great fieldside carparks still available for The Winemakers Polo Tournament.
Entry tickets are available from the office or at the gate on Sunday. Cost is $20 per person and this includes entry into the Harvest Picnic too. VPSC Members have free gate entry.

This is international polo at its best! Each year the best Australia can muster take on a visiting international team. In the past we’ve hosted teams from India, France, England, New Zealand, United States, South Africa and United Arab Emirates. Interstate clashes complete the support program.

The VPSC Social Club has its own Carpark & Marquee on most of the above event days
and all members & friends are welcome. The marquee is located in a prime viewing
position beside the Polo Ground and is a great place to enjoy the events.

Winery Tour to Yarra Valley – click here for booking details
Our destination is Rochford Winery.  Rochford's premises are extensive and consist of large cellar door, winery, restaurant, cafe´, wide spread grounds and is a Yarra Valley special events venue.  Our day out will feature transport to and from Rochford in the Yarra Valley, a personalised tasting and 2 course lunch.  There are only 22 places… so first in, best dressed. The bus will be leaving from the Whiteman Street entrance of Crown Casino at 11am and will be returning at about 4pm. Christmas Cocktail Party – The Bouzy Rouge Hotel, Jose and Sandra D’Oliveira’s new pub

We were not able to organise our usual cocktail party to celebrate the start of the polo season due to the uncertainty caused by the Equine Flu. So instead we are going to have a Christmas Cocktail Party.
The venue is the Bouzy Rouge Hotel – Jose and Sandra D'Oliveira's new venture at 47o Bridge Road, Richmond. The Bouzy Rouge has only been open for 5 weeks and is already gaining attention by winning the 3AW Pub of the Month.
